Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 23 July 2025
1. Our Commitment
Ondrik is committed to making ondrik.pro accessible to as wide a range of people as possible. This means people using assistive technologies — screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control — as well as those working on older hardware or mobile devices in a plant environment.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard across this site.
2. Conformance Target
Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. This covers perceivability, operability, understandability and robustness of all content on the site. We review the site against these criteria when we make significant changes.
3. Measures We Have Taken
Specific steps taken to support accessibility on this site include:
- Semantic HTML throughout — correct use of headings, landmarks (
header, main, footer, nav), lists and form elements - All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard; focus styles are visible on all focusable elements
- Text contrast ratios meet or exceed 4.5:1 against their backgrounds across the site
- Decorative images carry empty alt attributes; content images carry descriptive alt text relevant to the subject matter
- Form fields on the enquiry form are labelled with visible labels linked via
for/id; required fields are marked - The cookie consent dialog is implemented as a
dialogelement with focus management and keyboard dismissal (Escape key) - No animations are used that could cause problems for users with vestibular disorders; the site uses direct state changes rather than motion transitions for interactive elements
- The site renders usably with JavaScript disabled — content is not gated on scripting
- A skip-to-main-content link is provided on all pages for keyboard users
4. Known Limitations
We are aware of one area where the current site falls short of full conformance:
- The Google Maps iframe embedded on the homepage is provided by a third-party service. Navigation within the map frame is limited for keyboard and screen-reader users. We have provided a full address in text alongside the map as an alternative.
We will continue to review and address limitations as they are identified.
5. Feedback and Reporting Issues
If you encounter a barrier or find content that is not accessible to you, please let us know. We take accessibility feedback seriously and aim to respond within five working days.
